this is what a guava tastes like

Love being in SEA, get shit like this poster offering a tour of North Korea / the most perfectly ripe guava I've seen, tastes like pears and strawberries if you haven't tried one before / eh

Saturday, went to debating training and ended up at the first specialty coffee place I’ve come across in Singapore, tried siphon and drip coffee. Love the fancy glass instruments and Bunsen burner more than the coffee, but the espresso looked top class. Sunday, watched Tropic Thunder, Inbetweeners movie at another Utown flat. Learnt about the eight stages of human development. Monday was the Hari Raya holiday carried over from Saturday and involved a lot of sleeping. Tuesday I ended up in the flat next door and got a cooked meal and jokes about me being a homeless person out of it. Wednesday, finally got my courses sorted and when I went to get midnight granola @ Starbucks ran into Rowland and ended up playing tai tei, burn and shops until end of the night. Red marks on my arm from punishment rounds of spoonless spoons. Celebrating my new baby pink headphones. Tonight I have some aiesec business, then NUS Museum Open House and potentially a movie in the Human Trafficking series playing at Utown.

Back to Singapore

So summer holidays are over and I'm back in Singapore staying at Utown Graduate Residences this time which are some super new and with the bonus of a 24 hour Starbucks and Mac Commons nearby. After leaving Azerbaijan I went on to London, Brighton, Glasgow and Edinburgh, before departing for a two-week whirlwind Topdeck tour of Western Europe, hitting Paris, Swiss Alps, Florence, Rome, Venice, Tyrol (Austria), Rhine Valley (Germany), Amsterdam, and Bruges (Belgium). Way too much to keep track of here so I will just pick up where I left off!
